I just listened to your Beyonce podcast. What you have described about the Episcopal church in San Francisco is to my understanding pretty much the norm for most of the Episcopal church in America. My older brother is the rector of an Episcopal church in Seattle. My wife and I had a very candid discussion with him once about his universalistic views, and when we asked him about the passage where Jesus said no one comes to the father but by me, his only response was that it means something different to him than it does to me. That the church in San Francisco promotes the use of labyrinths is no surprise to me. This denomination has been immersed in mysticism for a long time now. Thank you for your ministry and informing the church about the heresy’s that exist among us, and the encouragement to be vigilant and discerning.
Very thorough analysis, guys. The nihilism has eaten deeply into the modernist American church, hasn’t it? But Christ is King and this is His Kingdom. He may give His enemies ground to hang themselves, but He won’t let them take the field. Especially since He’s raising up men like you to rule with Him. God bless you.
