Recording artist and entrepreneur Kanye West made news – again – recently when he met with President Donald Trump at the White House. But some are asking: why would this make news to begin with? Good question. Why is it considered taboo in some ethnic circles for a black person, like West, to independently form and express political views that are different from other black people, many of whom believe he is obligated to represent because of his ethnicity? Another good question. Listen as Darrell and ‘Omaha’ (Virgil Walker) deal with these and other questions through the lens of Scripture.
Key texts: Gen. 1:27; 1 Cor. 12:18, 24-27 (also Jn. 4:40-42, 6:66-69).
