On this episode of the Just Thinking broadcast, Darrell and Omaha (Virgil Walker) discuss the 2018 Revoice Conference, held in St. Louis, MO on July 26-28, under the mission of: “Supporting, encouraging, and empowering gay, lesbian, same-sex attracted, and other LGBT Christians so they can flourish while observing the historic, Christian doctrine of marriage and sexuality.” Listen as these brothers, lovingly yet firmly, express their own concerns about how Revoice, and evangelical movements like it, are promoting a different gospel than that to which it claims to subscribe.

Wonderfully articulated and logical review. Thank you for your courageous leadership!
Agreed, then there is no need for any minority community of sin, since it is to be decreased and abolished so Christ must increase and made Lord of one’s life. This “Christian” LGBT+ minority community does not exist. Only the called out Church of Christ – the Regenerate of the Holy Spirit. Thus, there should be no promoting and celebrating a decreasing sin that must/should be abolished. Christ is our focus, our Lord. And yes, the truly Regenerated and progressively being Sanctified will be fully Sanctified at death or if the Lord come, but we do not celebrate the sin, but the Creator.Though Jesus’ work of sacrificial atonement was finished on the cross, His work of redemption did not stop there. He was raised for our justification and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God to intercede for us. We can be confident of our salvation because of Jesus’ promise, “I will pray for you.” We have a living hope and a living Savior, one who is praying every day at the throne of God that our faith will not fail.
PS – My wife and I love your Biblical thoughts and keeping true to the Word.
