A debate is brewing, among Christians of various denominational persuasions, on the question of whether women should be ordained as pastors and elders in the church. It is a debate that is dividing family members, friends, and churches. But should there even be a debate at all? Key texts: 1 Timothy 2:11-14; Genesis 1:27, 3:16, 4:7; Psalm 119:89; 1 Thessalonians 2:13.
